At the Pillars, we believe in growing things as naturally as possible, that do well in our sometimes perverse Scottish climate with the bulk of our crops being grown outside. Our only concession being one glasshouse, and some polytunnels that help bring our plants on. So if you’re looking for gerberas or bird of paradise, or delphiniums in February then go to your local florist. But if you like local flowers in their proper seasons, read on…

Flowers are available from April to October and we grow a wide range starting with luscious tulips, then there are stocks, alliums, cornflowers, nigella, gypsophila, flowering herbs, delphiniums, grasses, larkspur, yarrow, and ending the season with dahlias, salvias, scabious and verbena (to name but a few).
We arrange them in mixed bunches and bouquets for sale at the Farm Shop priced from £5 to £20.

They do sell out quickly so please phone or email to avoid being disappointed!

We can also supply florists and wholesalers. Flowers are picked, boxed and despatched to arrive the next day.
