Flowers and Plants

   Here at the Pillars we grow certified organic flowers from April to September. Over the past 10 years we've learned which ones do best in our uncertain climate and have earned our reputation for producing vibrant, often scented and unusual hand tied bunches that we sell in our shop. Priced from £5 to £20, they sell out quickly so best to phone and order ahead.

    We also have a small nursery growing certified organic plants that we also sell beside the shop from March to October. We have a range of culinary herbs, wildflowers, herbaceous and vegetable transplants, including tomatoes, all grown in peat free organic compost. Plants, like people thrive on healthy food and we believe that by growing organically we can give plants the best possible start with well-developed root systems. We don't have a definitive plant list, but if you're looking for something in particular, send us an email or phone and ask for Judy.
