​This is a basic camping experience: space to pitch a tent, kick a ball around, toilets & showers, a wash house for your washing up and somewhere to light a fire. This is a family friendly campsite.

If you are looking for entertainment, a bar, somewhere to play loud music or get bevvied then this is NOT for you; please look elsewhere.

Campsite 

The main campsite is called Bankings Field; you can drive in and park next to your tent. There is no suitable space for caravans. 

Please note, there isno booking of the campsite after midday on the day of arrival.

Cyclists camping 
Genuine backpackers and touring cyclists carrying their own equipment are welcome anytime and do not need to book in advance-just register & pay £6 per person in the shop on arrival. There is a separate 'cyclists camping area' for you. ​

Camper Vans 

We have six camper van pitches, in our dedicated Camper Van field.  This area is only suitable for small camper vans up to 6m in length. There are no electric hook ups. We do allow dogs in Camper Vans field (ignore  what it says on PitchUp). 

Please only dispose of suitable toilet chemicals (eg Elsan 'Organic') in our toilets as we have a reed bed system in place.​​​
