Getting here
Walk: Lovely woodland walks and footpaths from Falkland Estate duckpond through the Estate grounds. Excellent path from Strathmiglo village hall along the Cotton road.
Cycle: As for walking plus we are on the National cycle route 1 which connects Dover to Shetland, but more common starting points are Edinburgh and St Andrews.
Bus: Stagecoach provide service 64 stopping outside the farm. Put 'pillars of hercules' into the destination on TravelineScotland website for times.
Car: You will need a car, insurance, driving licence and some fuel but this is still the most usual way to get here. If you have an electric vehicle then you can charge up at our charging point. If you don't, Co-wheels Car Club can help.
Motorbike: Strangely popular way to get to the Pillars. Not so much a mode of transport; more a way of life. Park up and admire each other's shiny chromework.
