Birken Tree Event - 10th September
Hosted by the Pillars of Hercules Organic Farm Shop, Birken Tree will be holding a tasting session and discussion on the many benefits and uses of our native Birch trees and associated flora. Birken Tree is a small company based in Perthshire who sustainably harvest birch sap and other wild plants from native Birchwoods to produce Birchwater and other natural goods.
Come along and join us for a taste of their lovely Birchwater and discover the joys of working with Birch on Tuesday 10th September from 10.30 – 11.30am at the Pillars of Hercules Organic Farm Shop.
Paul Baker - Echoes of Silence - Saturday 31st August
Come and join us for a House Concert by Paul Baker Hernandez who is an indefatigable peace and justice activist, who wields his beautiful self-crafted guitar, songs and stories in order to protest against harmful activities of corporate and international interests and war and to campaign for oppressed peoples and the planet.
Paul will present an evening of songs and stories imbued with joy and anger, work and struggle, profound hope and the irrepressible signs of justice and life in all its fullness.
Ticket price of £10 per person (payable on the door) includes a light supper of soup and sandwiches.
