Established in 1983, the farm has grown from one hectare to six
hectares. That’s about twelve football pitches or one decent size
motorway intersection. In fact 2008 sees us bringing a further 4 hectares into organic cultivation, which takes us into the realm of small airport runways.    We grow a lot of salad, which is really nice
stuff to eat. We also grow apples, beans, celery, cucumbers, dill, endive,
fennel, garlic, herbs, ipods, Jerusalem artichokes, kale, leeks… and so on. We’ve about 300 laying hens, which produce our very popular
eggs and rear 350 bronze turkeys for 350 Christmas dinners. A lot of our
produce we sell through the farm shop and veg boxes, the rest is distributed
on a merit basis to other box schemes, shops and restaurants...
